The economic uncertainty and chip crisis, which have shown their impact worldwide, are also affecting the smartphone industry. Many manufacturers have faced challenges in this regard. However, companies continue to compete with each other by releasing highly equipped models despite all these factors. The culmination of this competition was evident in the first quarter of 2023.
In the flagship phone market, the iPhone 14 Pro Max takes the lead
The sales of high-end models continued to increase in the first quarter of this year. Apple, undoubtedly the biggest name in the smartphone world, practically dominated the list. Apple products took the top 4 positions in the flagship phone market.
At the top of the list is Apple’s most powerful player, the iPhone 14 Pro Max. The second place is occupied by the iPhone 14 Pro from the same series, and the third place goes to the iPhone 14. These models are followed by the iPhone 13, the series before the fourth position. Samsung’s flagship model, the Galaxy S23 Ultra, entered the list in the fifth position as a rival to Apple in the industry.
Xiaomi, another significant player in the industry, secured its place at the 13th position with its flagship model. When it comes to foldable models, we see that the Galaxy Z Flip 4 made it onto the list. The only other company that made it onto the list is Huawei. The company ranks 14th with its Mate 50 model.
